My story

Why I believe in you.

Becoming a mother changed everything for me. It showed me the raw beauty of birth and the strength within every parent. It also opened my eyes to how isolating and overwhelming this journey can be without the right support.

I've been there. Navigating a world of conflicting advice, unanswered questions, and LOTS of big emotions and changes. That's why I've dedicated my work and energy to helping families exactly like yours. You don't have to do this alone. I believe in the power of preparation and community and I'm here to provide both as you step into this beautiful new chapter of your life.

What my families have to say

Caitlin is knowledgeable and experienced in her field but what really captured me was her INTENTIONALITY in the entire experience. Every conversation with Caitlin made me feel heard and understood. Although she has not quite experienced the struggle in being a “black woman in labor,” she listened and acknowledged my fears and concerns around labor and made me feel so empowered my entire pregnancy all the way through delivery. I never felt alone in my fears, anxieties or questions!

Caitlin was an actual life savor during our pregnancy. Although we hired her late in our pregnancy, she worked tirelessly with us to make sure everything was going smoothly, especially with navigating my first pregnancy with my husband being deployed. She is knowledgeable, patient, and kind.

A Philosophy Rooted in Strength

“The way a person gives birth matters. It has an impact on their self-confidence, self-esteem, and their ability to parent."
